Howdy, local person selling a pristine pair of advent laureate towers, nice looking speakers.does anyone know anything about these, or own a pair, My first impression is that the bass is very impressive I didn't hear the bass I felt it hitting my chest And yes, i have checked the integrated amplifier the seller was using, and all tone controls were bypassed What's new and news at audiokarma for the index page. I really liked it, but i moved it down the road to. I do not find too many thread talking about this brand and model.any opinion on it I had the c40 for several years with my tv setup I gave them to my brother a couple of years ago This was the budget line for kef at the time, the cabinets are of lesser build quality than the primary line of kef They are very good rock speakers, tight and punchy bass and they play loud Quality of the mids and highs is average I would only recommend them to someone that. I mentioned in another thread that i had ordered this unit as i strive to build an inexpensive yet nice sounding 2 channel stereo I thought i would let y'all know what my first impressions are in case there are others looking at this unit Hopefully this is helpful to someone
